A Special Talent

If time has proven anything to me or my friends, it's that I am an excellent artist.  Not only that, but I taught myself how to draw from a very young age.  I've even developed my own drawing style.  If you want to develop your own drawing style, here's what I would do:  Pick out a few different cartoon shows that really peak your interest.  Second, try drawing in each of the different art styles used in those shows.  After you get the hang of it, try mixing together different elements from each of the different styles in a way that looks workable.  And viola!  Your own art style!!

New Tech

There is a constant stream of new tech that is coming out pretty much every day.  If I had to make the choice of which new device I would want more, though, it would have to be the Playstation 4.  I've always prefered the Playstation system over X Box.  They have better games that are exclusively for Playstation than X Box does.  The Playstation 4 even has a touch screen function in the controller!  That, I think, would be pretty awesome!

Thanksgiving Weekend

This last weekend we got a four day break from school for Thanksgiving.  During this weekend, I had two Thanksgiving dinners to attend, one on my dad's side of the family, and one on my mom's side of the family.  The night before Thanksgiving, my little cousin came over and spent the night.  On Thanksgiving morning, my sister and I watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Then Friday and Saturday I spent at my mom's house in Jackson.  I think we can all agree, I had a relatively packed weekend.

Thanksgiving

My Thanksgivings are always really complicated.  First off, I have to go to two Thanksgiving dinners.  Second, I have three families that I usually have to be with during the weekend.  The first is the family I live with:  my grandma, grandpa, dad, all on my dad's side of the family.  Every now and then I have uncles and an aunt or some cousins that come over for dinner, but it's rare.  Then there's the other side of my family, which includes my grandpa Deline, his caretaker Joel (don't know how to spell his last name), my aunt Holly, uncle Jason, and my mom.  My aunt Amy and her family try to make it up to be with us most the time, but sometimes they can't make it.  And those are all on my mom's side of the family.  Then, I have my mom's house that I usually end up going to for the weekend after all the dinners, which is why I have to spend the weekend with three parts of my family.  Complicated, I know.

Dull Evenings

I've had many dull evenings in life, and I'm sure all of you have, but sometimes, I wonder just how dull exactly an evening can get.  So I thought about it.  The dullest I think a evening could be would end up being with me having absolutely no idea what to do.  And I mean not even a movie or book or a videogame could make it not dull.  You're just tired of EVERYTHING.  So, that's my thought of a dull evening.  Enjoy.

Honesty

Honesty is a big issue these days.  It's the defining factor that interprets a good person.  Some people take some chances and give a small lie to others to get out of a small spot, or just to mess with someone's mind.  But this doesn't end well, no matter what it is you're lying about.  It's always extra important to tell the truth, not just when something big happens.  But, I know that nobody is perfect, and I'm far from it.  I bet I've lied many times to get something that I wanted, even if I don't remember.  I've lied to family, friends, everyone really, but that doesn't excuse anyone from telling a lie when you know someone is going to hurt because of it.

HALLOWEEN!!!

Halloween always used to be my favorite holiday of the year, more because I got to dress up rather than getting all the candy.  Although, I did like the candy.  The past few years though, I've played the part of candy giver opposed to candy reciever, and haven't participated in Halloween for the past couple of years.  But for some reason, this year I just feel like doing something for Halloween.  I don't know what, and I don't know why, I just do.  That might actually happen this year, too, because my church is having a small Halloween party this Wednesday.

Fall: Season of Colors

Fall is the most colorful time of the year, and it's always amazing to see the leaves in the fall season.  Although it hasn't been as noticeable as in previous years, it's still a beautiful sight to behold.  Another good thing about the fall season, is November 15th.  Not only is it my birthday, but it's also the beginning of deer season.  So, hunters, get ready.  Possibly the best time of the year is approaching!

Recomendation Request

I have made it known that I'm putting together money for a custom computer that I am going to build myself, but I would like some recomendations for parts for the computer.  If you could give me suggestions for parts with good quality, but are relatively cheap at the same time, that would be great!

You can check out my art on my characters and other various things here:

Check me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first actual post.

And now I can step away from school assignments.  I'm going to delve into my history for your benefit of future posts for a bit.
I've been into drawing and super heroes for as long as I can remember, and have always planned on being someone significant in my life, in some way or form.  Recently I discovered what that would be:  a videogame developer.  I've created an entire cast of characters and am generating a story for the future game series.  I am also saving up the money to buy the parts needed for a computer, so that I can use game engines on it instead of the family computer.  I'm gonna try to get more posts containing pictures of my characters and maybe a video or two here over time.

I AM WILLING TO TAKE ADVICE ON WHICH GAME ENGINES TO USE!!!!!!!!

Spirit Week Pep Assembly

Every Friday at the end of Spirit Week, we have a pep assembly.  And, generally every year, it's pretty awesome!  I think that the pep assembly is my favorite part of Spirit Week.  During the assembly, the footbal teem is introduced, along with a presentation by cheer leaders somewhere during, and even the teachers gave a performance!  The senior high grades participate in challenges that the staff puts together, a regular one being tug-of-war.

Spirit Week

This week was spirit week at my school, and as a Sand Creek student, I am required (LAME.) to write a paragragh on the themes this week.  First off, a monday classic, was pajama day.  Of course, I'm the one person to forget the easiest theme to remember, so I didn't come prepared.  Tuesday was formal day, for which I appropriately wore a white button up shirt with black pants and a black leather blazer.  Wednesday was western day. I wore a black and red-orange button up cowboy shirt that had horses and the American flag on it.  Paired with that was a white cowboy hat (which looked like a smokestack on my head).  Today was camoflauge day.  Since I don't have any camoflauge clothes, I didn't dress up.  And, of course, tomorrow, Friday, is spirit day.  For which I am wearing a green sweat shirt with a white tee shirt under it.
